This dress is Lagrima in ochre and is currently in the mob vend at ++Blue Blood++.  It goes right down to 50L.  Normally there is a crowd there and doesn't take too long to reach rock bottom.  Slap the MM board while you are there.
The skin "Stephanie - London bound" is one of two skin packs in the ::Exodi:: group notices.  All come with 4 skin tones and loads of options around eyebrow colour, body hair, cleavage and hairbase.  There are also eyes, eyelashes and manicures included.  Group join fee is 250L but well worth it.

There are also two gifts in the notices of the Baiastice group.  The "nostalgic blue dress" only has a day or so left, but the beautifully ornate "casting" skin was only sent out yesterday and includes two skin tones - I am wearing peach and you also get tan.  The group is free to join - you just need to send a notecard to Sissy Pessoa and she will add you.  Sissy releases gifts monthly and they are always wonderful quality.

It's Me!

This hair is called "It's Me" and is the current lucky board prize at [SyDS! Hair].  It's resizable so should fit all avatars.  The skin and shape "style2" are the lucky chair prize at [eStyle].  It's a 60min chair but there is always a crowd there & it turns over quickly.  Eyes are "aurora", the current freebie at Poetic Colors. The earrings are the dollarbie pair from U&R Dogs, blogged previously.

Giulietta - Venetian Courtesan

Here we are modelling the current MM prize from SR Leathewerkx - it's still there today so go slap it if you want it.   Called Giulietta, it's based on the dress of an 18th century Venetian courtesan.  It has lovely detail and includes the shoes & stockings.

For the guys!

Yes, a post for our often neglected guys!  Belleza have just released a new group gift, which is another version of their fab Thomas skin.  They have released three different free versions of this lately - all slightly different.  The first was part of the Le.Look avatar we blogged previously, the second was the Christmas group gift which also included the female Alyson skin [see earlier post], and now the bearded version has been released.  The gift includes five different skin tones - this one is "sun kissed".  The group costs 250L to join, but is well worth it for the quality and frequency of gifts given out; Belleza skins are really well made, and their male line is no different.  The detail and shading on the body is great as you can see in the next picture (and I refute any allegations of gratuitous near nudity - lol)

The eyes are called "Aurora" and are the latest freebie out at Poetic Colors.  The hair is "Reed" and is free from UncleWeb Studio.  The white denim shirt in the first picture is a new dollarbie out at Mimi's Choice for Men and is available only for a limited time.

U&R Dogs

Happy New Year all - hope you had a wonderful festive season, and are easing yourselves gently back into normal life!  If you picked up all the parts of the Le.Look avatar before Christmas you would have discovered U&R Dogs as they contributed the lovely female earrings.  They have opened a new store and put this lovely pair out for 1L.

The skin is the current group gift from Belleza - 250L to join, but the quality of gifts is amazing.  You get two female tones and two male tones included - the gift is currently still in notices so get it soon before it poofs.

The Truth is...

Wow designers are being so generous at the moment!  This lovely red dress called "Martini" has just been sent out by the Truth subscribo - the third gift this month.  You can find it in history if you haven't signed up already.  These sequined shoes are the current subscribo gift from Nardcotix - they are really nicely done with a great texture.

 

*Fishy Strawberry* have also sent a subscribo gift out - this is "Marshmallow" and comes with loads of pieces on lots of layers - it's available in history.

Hunting for Sharkie

Tomorrow (1st December) a hunt will be starting at Sharkie's store.  It runs until December 26th, and you are hunting for 20 glowing globes (hint, it's easier at midnight!).  These are all items that won't be sold in store, so total exclusives.  One of the prizes is this gorgeous gold feather & lace dress called "pride".  It comes with the gloves and two skirt options.

 

Another thing to look for is this lovely skin - called "giselle fair - honey".  It has gold eyeshadow & nail polish, perfect for the Christmas season.

Eye Eye

Poetic Colors have just released their new eye collection, and these "fairy tale eyes" are the new freebie out instore.  They come in two versions bright (as shown) and dark, where the white of the eye is much darker.  They also come with eye lights.

DCNY & Blowpop

Dave Casanova @ DCNY has just released two hallowe'en dollarbies - this cute outfit I'm wearing (I love the pumpkin shaped skirt!) and the skin I'm wearing with it.
There are a number of other dollarbies available too - Geck is wearing this sweet green dress that we found there. She's also sporting the latest group gift skin from Blowpop. This is a new creator to me and the skin is really well done with some lovely shading. The group gift (find it in notices) includes 4 different skin tones, each with two makeups.

The Skin Trade

This post focuses on skins! You may know there is currently a Skin & Shape Expo taking place until 10th October. There are loads of designers showcasing some gorgeous new creations there. Quite a few have freebies/dollarbies available too. However if you do go, be ready for some serious lag - deprim as much as possible, your video card will thank you for it..... Links for dollarbies are to the Expo as these skins are only available there at present.


First up - Lily skin L$0 from Exodi at the expo. This gift includes four skin tones with dark & light brow options, as well as some prim eyelashes. Hair - Sloane from Tousled - L$40 for a pack of 3 (hurry though, pre-moving sale). Eyes - autumn crocus from Poetic Colors - not free.


Another freebie from the Expo - the Megan skin from Rockberry. The gorgeous skin has amazing detail, and comes in four tones. Eyes, not free - autumn indian summer from Poetic Colors (as before). Hair not free, Wendy in cocoa from Truth


Final expo freebie - Braelyn from [the oBscene]. Box includes 8 versions of this skin and four of a paler skin with nosebleed & cut throat options! Eyes & hair as before.


This skin is not from the expo, but the current group gift from Belleza. They make some of the best skins on the grid & the detail is superb. This skin is called Jesse and the gift includes two skin tones both with hairbase and enhanced cleavage options. You have to pay L$250 to join the group, but (imo) it's worthwhile. The gifts alternate between male and female skins/shapes. There is also a dollarbie skin available for both males & females just inside the store door.

Hanging On To Summer

Hey all - my first post so please be gentle :) Autumn is fast approaching in RL for me, but in the permanent summer of SL there is always an excuse for a cute bikini. SWIM! have some of the best on the grid, and always have a new monthly dollarbie for both guys & girls. At the moment they are participating in the Harlow "Too Hot To Handle" hunt (THTH).
