Wednesday's pretties

This dress is Lagrima in ochre and is currently in the mob vend at ++Blue Blood++.  It goes right down to 50L.  Normally there is a crowd there and doesn't take too long to reach rock bottom.  Slap the MM board while you are there.
The skin "Stephanie - London bound" is one of two skin packs in the ::Exodi:: group notices.  All come with 4 skin tones and loads of options around eyebrow colour, body hair, cleavage and hairbase.  There are also eyes, eyelashes and manicures included.  Group join fee is 250L but well worth it.

There are also two gifts in the notices of the Baiastice group.  The "nostalgic blue dress" only has a day or so left, but the beautifully ornate "casting" skin was only sent out yesterday and includes two skin tones - I am wearing peach and you also get tan.  The group is free to join - you just need to send a notecard to Sissy Pessoa and she will add you.  Sissy releases gifts monthly and they are always wonderful quality.

This hat with hair is called "paris - black redtipped" and is in the group only MM board at :::IrEn:::  The group is free to join.

Group/Subscribo goodies

Note: This will be a fairly long post & I'll add to it through the day, so do check back later!

Truth have two gifts current in their subscribo - this hair which comes in four shades (complete with baubles & snowflakes) and this unisex scarf - that comes in  10 different colours.  Click it and choose history - the gifts are 2nd & 9th December.

Gala & Rita Design Announcements - the inworld group for Curio - have just sent out this skin called elf to the group.  It comes with 10 different versions & is their latest release.  Their skins are incredible and it's a very generous gift.  The group is free to join.
Cardigan & armwarmers from SilentSparrow - not free, but there is a version of the armwarmers in the group notices (250L join fee)

The boots Sorzun is modelling are the current group gift from Js.  You can pick them up in store by clicking on Santa.  You must have your group tag active, but it's free to join.  There are male & female versions included, and the quality is awesome. [These are all over the blogs, but couldn't resist including them!]

The waistcoat & waistcincher are the latest group gift from SilentSparrow - you can pick them up in the gift shop as long as you have your group tag active. The hair is a different shade of the Truth gift.

 

Baiastice have released lots of gifts lately: on left "pearl silk party dress" which will only be in group notices for a couple more days.  Under the tree outside the main store can be found the male outfit and the red "christmas dream" dress, which includes jewellery.

I (on the left) am also wearing the current gift from Duh! winter knit nordic boots (just seen) and the hair is the latest subscribo gift from Clawtooth called "good morning" in "peeled carrots" shade lol.

 

This outfit is the subscribo gift at Deviance, and the boots are available in store for either free or 1L.  Both come with a variety of santa hats.  The skin is a new dollarbie at Lazolli - three have been put out.  One with this skin and a shape, another with several shapes and the third with this pose in.

This is one of two dollarbies available at [Cynful] "corset overall" comes with two different cuffs for the trousers, and the corset can be worn with black or white lace, or as an underbust version with no lace.  The skin is another tone of the Curio gift mentioned earlier.

This jumper is a dollarbie in store at DCNY.  The shorts & leggings are the other dollarbie from [Cynful] - these come with white leggings as well as thong -showing options.  There is also a pair without leggings, so very flexible.  The boots are the gift from Duh!  mentioned above.

This is the peppermint katty dress in green from the newly resurrected scary santa lucky chair at Katat0nic.  There are three colour options in the chair - green, blue and red.

This last one is a bit of a mash-up!  The top is the white lace version of the Cynful corset, the skirt and tights are freebies from *Fake* - there are six different patterns of tights, and can be found outside the store.  The armwarmers are a group gift from Exodi and you get three patterns.  Phew!  That's it for now....

Pinky Gals

This is the current lucky board prize from Pinky*Gals, simply called Xmas Dress in black.  The detail is great and it's good to see different styling  & detailing.  The board changes every 10 minutes, but if you are too impatient to wait, you can buy it for 135L in red, white and black.

Winterstock

I've posted about this fab Christmas -themed sim that opened this week on our other blog, however while I was there I picked up some freebies, so though I'd share them with you.

Geckogirl (left) wears Belle Forest Green set from Blacklace, free - look under their Christmas tree. Sorzun (centre) wears limited edition free "Winterstock" sweater from artilleri (only available until Sunday) and holiday plaid jeans from Stellar [both items are unisex]. I am wearing the rest of the gift from Stellar - including a cute mouth candy cane. The snowman top is unisex too. Their gift can also be found under the tree in their store. All these shops are on the Winterstock sim - go explore - ferris wheel & ice rink are available for your leisure. My skin "sugar crystals" is the current group gift from Exodi.

Flaming Melons

AvantMelon have updated their luckyboards and these Flaming Dresses are available in a variety of colours. The boards change every 5 minutes and there are 5 available - collect the set!


Geckogirl (left) wears the yellow/orange one, and Sorcha (right) the purple/blue version.
Sorcha is also wearing grey cowboy boots which are the new group gift from Duh! and the "Lily" skin - the current gift from Exodi - which comes in 4 skin tones & different eyebrown options. The boots are also available in store in different colours, for both men & women. Geck's hair is "NMR32" from booN (previous freebie) and Sorcha's is "Trisha" from Truth (not free)

The Skin Trade

This post focuses on skins! You may know there is currently a Skin & Shape Expo taking place until 10th October. There are loads of designers showcasing some gorgeous new creations there. Quite a few have freebies/dollarbies available too. However if you do go, be ready for some serious lag - deprim as much as possible, your video card will thank you for it..... Links for dollarbies are to the Expo as these skins are only available there at present.


First up - Lily skin L$0 from Exodi at the expo. This gift includes four skin tones with dark & light brow options, as well as some prim eyelashes. Hair - Sloane from Tousled - L$40 for a pack of 3 (hurry though, pre-moving sale). Eyes - autumn crocus from Poetic Colors - not free.


Another freebie from the Expo - the Megan skin from Rockberry. The gorgeous skin has amazing detail, and comes in four tones. Eyes, not free - autumn indian summer from Poetic Colors (as before). Hair not free, Wendy in cocoa from Truth


Final expo freebie - Braelyn from [the oBscene]. Box includes 8 versions of this skin and four of a paler skin with nosebleed & cut throat options! Eyes & hair as before.


This skin is not from the expo, but the current group gift from Belleza. They make some of the best skins on the grid & the detail is superb. This skin is called Jesse and the gift includes two skin tones both with hairbase and enhanced cleavage options. You have to pay L$250 to join the group, but (imo) it's worthwhile. The gifts alternate between male and female skins/shapes. There is also a dollarbie skin available for both males & females just inside the store door.
