Twilight comes to the French Farm..

Ohhh I just HAD to write about this gown!!! This is the free gift of the week at The French Farm and Lemania did not let us down! The detailing on the dress is fantastic, and the shoes that come with it are classic and will go with a good portion of my wardrobe, yeah for new shoes! The jewel details at the cleavage are guaranteed to grab any ones eye, they are simply gorgeous. What a great tribute to the twilight novels a good number of us have not only read but grown to adore.

Next up is a treasure that's soon to be gone forever... Gold Coins has been moved to The Changing Room where it will only stay for the next week before its gone forever.. if your looking for silks that have just the right amount of flexy and lots of lil added extras that set them up on the top shelf and not in the heaps of same old same old all over Sl. This set may just be for you, hurry on over before you miss your chance!

The Spirit of Ballet Pixelle

Well where do I start ..I was one of the few, who were/are lucky enough to be involved with the wonderful, magical Ballet Pixelle. I spent a few months with them, both as a Dancer and as the Wardrobe Mistress, so forgive any sentimentality ;) They put on some of the most beautiful and breathtaking performances I have seen in SL and their new show "The Living Goddess" is no exception. It is based on the legend of Kumari, the chosen Goddess who grows and passes the mantle on to the younger chosen one. I am including some audience comments from the gala opening performance to tempt you (Typos have been corrected)

Monarchy Republic: Thank you:) The production just gets better every time. The clothes were (devotionally ;)) divine :))

Musimba Yellowknife: I always look forward to watching Ballet Pixelle.

Neena Botanical: I think the sets and costumes look fantastic.

AbaBrukh Aabye: Yes, they [the sets and costumes] are marvelous.

Peacesoul Destiny:

"Living Goddess"] very much captures the emotion, which was unexpected and enjoyable; I am stunned in fact. I was unsure of how such a thing would work in SL. Well I had heard of ballets going on here; however admittedly had felt they would lack the authenticity. It's just such a lovely thing to enjoy with friends and wonderful to be able to experience in the comfort of your own home. You are doing an amazing job; it's really beautiful and it really has the feeling of attending something special. I'm sure it means so much to those who are lucky enough to find you.

Their next show is at Ballet Pixelle IBM Theatre Sunday 5th July at 5pm SLT Go and see for yourselves ;)

The pink lollipop ballet outfit is free along with the skin, scripted ballet shoes and hair with a beautiful tiara and pink pearls. All available free at the Spirit Stall @ The Hair Fair
Kumaris outfit is made by one of the most talented ladies I have yet to meet. She is a beautiful dancer, is in charge of the music, teaches class, leads rehearsal and turns her hand to costume, eyes and skin when the need arises. Unfortunately her designs are not yet available to the public but you may be sure if that changes I will definitely let you know.

A Night @ The Oscars

Ohh if you haven't heard, you are all invited to the Oscars!! Lemania has organised it for us all, isn't that kind of her?? And what could be more perfect to wear than this beautiful golden gown by Lois Designs! All you have to do is go into her shop and answer a movie trivia question and there you have it! Put on your glad rags and go to Eltons party after ...well, I can dream can't I? :P

It's all here in Black & White

Weird how things come along in groups ..I found all this in the last 12 or so hours, so it seems only natural to put together a B & W post.
As usual, from the bottom up.
This is Ode To Escher, the group gift at Lemania's, and above that At The Hop in the MM board. In all the pictures I'm wearing the latest skin from her too, not free but very reasonable price. The 3rd picture is from the Gorean Market ..in the Ladies freebie section in an unmarked box. At the top we have the latest gift from Bleak House, to be found at Magic Faraway Tree Freebies. Isn't the hat to die for girls? :P The hair in the 2 bottom and the top picture is from Glitter, not free with the other from Hair Solutions @ the Hair Fair ..it's still on folks!
