Who Ate All The Pies?

DCNY are having a "bake sale" or pie hunt that finishes today (Saturday) at midnight SLT. There are 13 pies out around the store - 10 are for sale at 10L each and each contain a different outfit. There are also three free pies - pumpkin, strawberry & apple - yummy.

This gorgeous skin is free in the apple pie, it's called Lorelei Apricot 07. The jumper, belt & trousers are called "Denise" and can be found in one of the 10L pies. There are other freebies around the front desk (including another lovely skin), some of which I blogged a couple of days ago. Go grab them!

Vignette & In Her Shoes

Rachel Boram - the creator of the best hallowe'en boots - has set everything in her two shops to L$0. Must be samhain madness but is fantastic news for us bargain hunters. She has two shops - Vignette which is hair and In Her Shoes which is footwear. Lots of different styles of both in multiple colours, all free! Here are just a couple of items I snagged earlier. In the picture above I am wearing purple Betty dots shoes & Izzy hair in Majestic black.

Atomic

Just a quickie as this has been blogged to death, but Atomic are having a small hunt around their stores. There are 12 jack o'lanterns to find and they are easy to spot. You can get 3 fat packs of skins, 2 of hair, 2 of batwing tattoos (unisex), 3 of Ts (unisex) and 2 of tanks (also unisex). Word of warning - it's popular so gets busy. To reduce lag remove as many prims & huds as you can - it will make moving easier & take less time for your graphics card to have to draw you. Reducing your draw distance will also help. It only took me about 20 mins to find all the pumpkins, so worth the effort....

Swimming Kitties

Hallowe'en hunts are still going strong on the grid. Another has just started on the Calico Kitty sim. There are 19 pumpkins to find (they are pretty easily spotted - they glow!) containing 19 hairs (by Calico Ingmann) and 3 skins from FUB. All the hair styles come in four different hallowe'en colourways. Calico Ingmann is one of my favourite hair designers so this was a lovely thing to stumble across. There are a couple of styles for the guys (although there's nothing to stop them wearing the others....) The skins have lovely details including stomach tattoos. If you need any help finding the pumpkins, drop me an IM. All the pumpkins are in and around the CIC store on Calico Kitty.

In both pictures Sorcha & Sorzun are wearing the October dollarbies from Swim! and Sorzun also has on the hallowe'en subscribo freebie shirt from Shabby Cat (the skins are female ones and he was embarrassed by his moobs). Geckogirl has on the "tiny pumpkins" bikini also from Swim! - a current LC prize. All these stores have some great stuff, so do look around if you're picking up the freebies/dollarbies.

Gal Sim is having a Lingerie Hunt, well specifically Envy Liquid, they are all over the sim, not many places to look there so it's relatively easy.
I don't know how many there are but I found 6, look for pretty panties hehe
All the sets come with a babydoll option and are all so very glamorous and luxurious.
I also found a hairdryer which contained this Hair from Zues which I love, in fact I love everything I found :D

DCNY & Blowpop

Dave Casanova @ DCNY has just released two hallowe'en dollarbies - this cute outfit I'm wearing (I love the pumpkin shaped skirt!) and the skin I'm wearing with it.
There are a number of other dollarbies available too - Geck is wearing this sweet green dress that we found there. She's also sporting the latest group gift skin from Blowpop. This is a new creator to me and the skin is really well done with some lovely shading. The group gift (find it in notices) includes 4 different skin tones, each with two makeups.

Chocolate?

Four Yip has an exhibit at Burning Life.
If you go, be sure to turn on video stream and wander through the maze of colours and dripping chocolate, trying all the poseballs.
It's best with your lover but still lot's of fun on your own.
Outside in the corner there is a large drip of chocolate, if you touch it you will receive a lovely package of gifts.
The Skin, Hat, Nose, Teddy Bear and Bar of Chocolate are all in it along with very cute nose rubbing pose balls and other bits besides.
Tomorrow is the last day of Burning Life and well worth a visit to the whole festival

The MM at Dilly Dolls has been updated, with the new version of the Candy Lolita dress. This comes with 6 different top options, pretty much all with a food theme & great detail.

AvantMelon have updated their luckyboards and these Flaming Dresses are available in a variety of colours. The boards change every 5 minutes and there are 5 available - collect the set!

Witch or Vampire?

Been meaning to blog this for ages! Sissy Pessoa at Baiastice has released a dress in store that can be used to dress up as either witch or vampire. Personally I think it's too lovely to be kept just for trick or treating! As with all of Sissy's work it is beautifully done. Additionally, the group notices for Baiastice include a package of vampire & witch skins, each with a choice of four brow colours, two pairs of eyes, hair and vampire fangs to compliment the dress. I am wearing the witch skin & eyes in this pic. The group is free to join, but you have to send Sissy a note to get added. The notice will expire on 26th, so get a wriggle on if you want all the extras!
The background moon & broom pose is a hallowe'en dollarbie from La Petite Morte - only available until the end of the month.

You may have heard of 50L Fridays - each Friday a group of designers have at least one item in their store reduced to 50L. The designers change each week and it's a good way of discovering new stores, even if you don't buy the 50L item.
